Seminary of the Immaculate Conception
Once again, Camp Quo Vadis will be held at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, located at 440 West Neck Road, Huntington, New York.
Dedicated in 1930 to serve in the preparation and education of priests for the Church on Long Island, the Bishops at the time desired a facility that was both beautiful to live in and isolated from the buzz of the city.
Grounds
Nestled on the shores of Lloyd Harbor, with over 200 acres of land, it is not hard for one to forget that they are still on Long Island. One can easily spend all day walking and exploring the many wooded trails the property offers, or one could stumble upon lost gems like the stone amphitheater built before 1930, when the property belonged to a family who would feel more at home in the Great Gatsby than in present day.
Rooms
At Camp Quo Vadis, each camper will stay in a cozy room, each with it's own private bathroom and shower. Boys and Girls will sleep on separate floors, and each wing will have its own chaperones.
Chapels
There are five chapels located within the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, each more beautiful than the next. The worship and prayer that will take place in the chapels over the week will be the beating heart of Camp Quo Vadis.
